A soap saver/soap scrubby is not only an easy DIY, but it makes a great gift for any other occasion!

What you need:

• 1 ball Scrubby Glitz Yarn
• 6.5 mm Crochet Hook
• Yarn Needle

For Optional Border:

• Dishcloth Dazzle Yarn
• 3.5 mm Crochet Hook

Abbreviations

• Ch = chain
• Sc = single crochet
• Sl st = slip stitch
• St = stitch

Foundation

Ch 30. Sl st into the first chain.

Row 1

Ch 2, Sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, sc in every other ch until the end of the row. Sl st.

Row 2-15

Repeat Row 1 until you have a total of 15 rows. You should end with a tube that is open on both sides. Sl st end of pouch closed.

Optional Border

Using Dishcloth Dazzle Yarn and a 3.5 mm crochet hook, work 2 sc into each ch 1 space around the opening of the pouch. Sl st into 1st sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Drawstring

Cut a 20 inch piece of Scrubby Glitz Yarn. On the open end of the pouch, weave the piece of yarn through the stitches and tie a knot at the end.
